We encourage you to bring any relevant documents that highlight your inspiration and goals. Together we’ll discuss your ideal timelines and budget, so that you have a clear understanding of what comes next. After our initial consultation, you’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining the JuteBox process and a breakdown of our fees for each phase of the project.

Approval of the proposal kicks off a more in-depth discovery meeting, shaping the framework that will guide the design development. With consideration of your ideas and sources of inspiration, we'll collaboratively explore how to integrate the elements that resonate most with you. During this phase, we’ll explore your wants and needs (and discern the differences), discuss hobbies and daily routines, and carefully consider the rhythms of your work and family schedules. This is a great time to share your ideas and research, capitalizing on the early stages when the concepts are at inception. Eager to bring your vision to life; we value your input as we move into design development.

Now it's time to perfect the plan for optimal flow and functionality. To maximize efficiency, involving us early on in architectural planning helps to ensure your needs are met. Together, we assess each room meticulously, considering storage, furniture layouts, and natural light. Once the framing is dialled, we'll quickly draft layouts and plan for built-in cabinetry and appliances. Selections for plumbing and other fixtures are made early to ensure proper dimensions and clearances. Next, we move on to material and finishing selections: flooring, lighting, countertops, paint colour, and more! We provide samples and 3D renderings to help you visualize the final look and are available to guide you through the process, ensure our vision aligns with your goals and budget.

We create comprehensive construction drawings and specifications for your review and approval. Once finalized, we provide them to your general contractor to start the project. The final package includes floor plans, lighting layouts and key electrical locations, elevations for detailed millwork drawings, and details regarding other material applications. We work closely with your chosen builder and can recommend other trades if required. Your satisfaction and smooth project execution are our top priorities. Clear documentation ensures no misunderstandings, and open communication ensures realistic expectations and the best outcome without compromise.

At JuteBox Interiors, we streamline the process of furnishing your space with a curated selection of furniture and accessories. We seamlessly orchestrate the delivery and setup of all new items such as area rugs and furniture (preferably in that order), we oversee the specific placement of artwork and drapery, and wall-mounted lighting and accessories. More often required for clients who call this a home away from home, we will go so far as completing a checklist for turnkey items including kitchen wares, soft goods including bedding and towels, and stock essential pantry items like cleaning supplies and household paper products.
